Word provides cover-page layouts through Insert, Cover Page. Microsoft's guide describes selecting a design and replacing its sample title and other text with the document's own information. Adding another gallery cover normally replaces the previously inserted gallery cover.

Review the placeholders before sharing so sample content is not left behind. The cover-page menu also removes the current cover, and the guide notes that cover pages do not display the document's page numbers.
